What If You’re Wasting What God Gave You?

Sep 6, 2026    Sam Draper

What does it really mean to be faithful with what God has placed in our hands? In this message drawn from the Parable of the Minas in Luke 19, we are confronted with a truth that cuts straight to the heart of how we live between now and eternity. The parable presents a nobleman who entrusts his servants with resources before departing, and upon his return, he does not ask how much they had -- he asks what they did with what they were given. That single shift in perspective changes everything. God does not measure faithfulness by the size of our bank account or the scale of our influence. He measures it by our obedience with whatever he has placed in our hands. Whether we have much or little, the call is the same: be faithful now. This message challenges us to stop treating our finances, time, and talents as things we own, and start seeing them as things we steward on behalf of the one who truly owns them all.
